B\u00f6ttcherstra\u00dfe and the Town Hall. The B\u00f6ttcherstrasse was (partly) designed by the architect Bernhard Hoetger, where a museum is dedicated to the female painter Paula Modersohn-Becker; the Town Hall owes its Art Nouveau furnishings to the artist Heinrich Vogeler. All of them lived and worked in Worpswede. Vogeler expressed his artistic natura in Barkenhoff, which Paula also frequently visited. Hoetger designed the \u201cKaffee Worpswede\u201c and the \u201cGro\u00dfe Kunstschau\u201c museum.<\/p>\n<p>Life and work of the artists come alive during the bus trip from Bremen to Worpswede. We start with a short excursion in the B\u00f6ttcherstra\u00dfe and go then by bus to Worpswede, passing Bremen B\u00fcrgerpark (Citizen Park), the W\u00fcmme landscape and the Teufelsmoor. On this guided tour, you decide the stops.<\/p>\n<h2>Guided tour from Bremen to Worpswede at a glance<\/h2>\n<p>In Italian, French, English and German, Bremer Promenaden tells anecdotes and other true stories from the life of the Worpswede artists.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stops of the tour: <\/strong>You can choose <a href=\"http:\/\/www.museum-modersohn.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Museum at the Modersohn-Haus<\/a>, or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worpswede-museen.de\/grosse-kunstschau\/haus-sammlung.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hoetger Ensemble<\/a> with Kaffee Worpswede and the \u201cGro\u00dfe Kunstschau\u201c museum. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worpswede-museen.de\/en\/barkenhoff\/barkenhoff.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Barkenhoff<\/a> is a must, as the estate in Art Nouveau style was the meeting point of the artists per se. Vogeler fans in addition visit the Haus im Schluh. Further possible stops are the church with its cemetery and a stroll through Bergstra\u00dfe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration of the excursion:<\/strong> minimum 6 hours including visit to a museum and a meal in a restaurant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Good to know:<\/strong> Our ways lead over rough and smooth paths, that&#8217;s why sturdy shoes are better than sandals and everyday shoes. Please don&#8217;t forget money for museums and restaurants.
