Bremen coffee merchant <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ludwig_Roselius_(Unternehmer)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ludwig Roselius<\/a> knew at an early stage that you sell more in beautiful surroundings. In the B\u00f6ttcherstra\u00dfe he combined his preference for North German art and history with coffee trade. The design of the street was mainly influenced by the artist <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bernhard_Hoetger\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bernhard Hoetger<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On our tour of Bremer&#8217;s B\u00f6ttcherstra\u00dfe you will hear how the old tradesman\u2019s street was transformed into a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boettcherstrasse.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">work of art<\/a>, why this street was in great danger during the 1930s, who was the first female artist a museum was dedicated to, and where the <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/2kV7DqW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">carillion<\/a> with the picture tower exhibit the importance of the shipping and aviation industry for Bremen.<\/p>\n<h2>Guided tour of B\u00f6ttcherstra\u00dfe at a glance<\/h2>\n<p>The history of the B\u00f6ttcherstra\u00dfe in Bremen and its sponsors is told in French, Italian, English and German.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stops of the tour: <\/strong>Lightbringer, Paula Becker-Modersohn-Haus with museum, handicraft-court and Fountain of the Seven Lazy Brothers, Roselius Haus, Hoetger court, <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Haus_des_Glockenspiels\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Carillon Haus<\/a>, Atlantis Haus with the \u201cHimmelsaal\u201c (Hall of the Sky) only with reservation, Robinson-Crusoe Haus with cafe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration<\/strong> <strong>of the tour<\/strong>: one hour, with a short visit of the museum 1.5 hours<\/p>\n<p><strong>Good to know<\/strong>: On Mondays the museums are closed. Atlantis Haus is used as a hotel nowadays. Guided tours are, therefore, limited.
