The artists&#8217; village on the outskirts of the city has been an artists&#8217; colony since the end of the 19th century. Today, with more than 100 artists and craftspeople and six museums, the village in the Teufelsmoor offers a beautiful destination for art lovers, nature lovers and cyclists.<\/p>\n<p>The neighbouring city of Bremen has been an important Hanseatic city since the Middle Ages. Art lovers will also find many places to visit here. February 2026 to 01. November 2026<\/p>\n<p>Radical and feminine &#8211; Modersohn-Becker developed her art between Worpswede, Bremen and Paris. To mark the 150th anniversary of her birth, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worpswede-museen.de\/home-en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Worpswede museums<\/a> are dedicating four exhibitions to Paula Modersohn-Becker and the inspiration she provided.<\/p>\n<p>The programme starts in Bremen with a visit to B\u00f6ttcherstra\u00dfe and the Paula Modersohn-Becker Museum. Afterwards you will be guided through Bremen&#8217;s old town and the Schnoor.
